Network Spy System

This internally developed, proprietary network monitoring system is based on Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), Multi Router Traffic Grapher (MRTG), PingProbe, Windows service and Web pages created with Active Server Pages technologies. It has been thoroughly tested and successfully deployed in our production environment.

MRTG - A powerfull tool to monitor the traffic load on network-links. MRTG generates HTML pages containing graphical images which provide a “LIVE” visual representation of undergoing network traffic.

PingProbe - simple add-on to MRTG which monitors round trip time and packet loss to another host.

Although MRTG's primarily use is for network monitoring, it also offers additional graphically presented informations: server CPU usage, hard disk usage, HTTP and FTP connections, mail sent and received per minute, mail message bytes sent/received per minute.

Combined together MRTG and PingProbe provide real time network monitoring system, easy to configure and use, accessible over the Internet, expandable, capable of monitoring hosts in your LAN and remote hosts over the Internet.
